In collaboration with CSTA Oklahoma, join Defined Learning for an engaging Computer Science and STEM professional development session. Tailored to Oklahoma educators, this workshop will introduce participants to Defined Learning's project-based learning (PBL) units. These units are aligned to the new OK Computer Science standards and feature hands-on projects based on real-world STEM careers designed to help students acquire critical skills necessary for success in the modern workforce. Register here!

During this session, educators will:
  • Gain hands-on experience with Defined Learning’s PBL units, engaging directly with the materials and tasks that students would tackle.
  • Learn about the comprehensive range of resources available through Defined Learning, discovering how to integrate these effectively into their teaching strategies.
  • Explore the alignment of Defined Learning’s Computer Science courses with Oklahoma's new standards, ensuring that the educational content meets state educational criteria.

  • Date: Tuesday, July 30th or Wednesday, July 31st (please choose 1 session)
  • Time: 10:00am - 2:00pm
  • Location: Tulsa Tech - Riverside Campus: 801 E 91st St, Tulsa, OK 74132; Building F, Room 201
  • What to Bring: Please come prepared with a device capable of connecting to the internet.
  • Arrival: We recommend arriving 15 minutes early to settle in as the session will start promptly.
  • Food and Drink: Lunch will be provided for all attendees.
